Watson DeWitt Ramsay lineage of Alabama extends to descendants in Colorado

Another Longs Peak Scot Fest attendee revealed that her grandfather was Watson DeWitt Ramsay (1895 - 1957), originally of Alabama. He married Maud Blount (1896 - 1992) about 1912 and they had four children. Watson's parents were Dr. Walter Dekel Ramsay (1870 - 1942) and Ada Estelle Miller (1876 - 1954) - both from Alabama. Walter's parents were Richard A(lexander?) Ramsay (1838 GA - 1884 AL) and Mary Elizabeth Griffith (b. 13 Apr 1833 GA). There is some confusion about Richard's parents, but it would appear he was related to the William Harvey Ramsey family of Thomas County, Georgia, but originally from Bladen Co., NC.
